Golden Apple Agro Fresh is the first farmer driven Integrated Controlled Atmosphere Cold Store Project of Jammu and Kashmir dealing mainly in Apples among other Horticulture produce of Jammu and Kashmir.
The Company has set up a State of the Art Integrated Controlled Atmosphere Cold Store Facility at Industrial Growth Centre, Lassipora, Pulwama, J&K with an initial capacity (Storage space) of 2000 Metric Tonne of Apple. Storage space is distributed among local growers, Traders and MNC’s on Monthly rental basis. Some of the storage space is also utilized by the Company for its captive storage program. Expansion of storage Capacity to 5000 MT, Apple Concentrate and Juice Production are some of the plans of the Company in the coming years
Description about Services
Equipped with an Italian manufactured Colour, Size and Weight Sorter/Grading machine and modern packaging facilities, procurement of fruit is done directly from the Apple Growers of Kashmir which is then graded and stored in Controlled Atmosphere Cold Conditions and then supplied in the off season to different Markets. The above said facilities are also open for farmers, Traders and MNC’s who wish to grade/sort their produce for storage under CA conditions. In addition to above, facilities for packaging and packaging material, transportation in Reefer vans and marketing of the stored produce are also available on demand.

Controlled atmosphere Storage is a system for holding Produce in an atmosphere that differs substantially from normal air in respect of CO2 and O2 levels. This type of storage refers to the constant monitoring and adjustment of the CO2 and O2 levels within Gas tight chambers. The Company has installed its C.A Machinery from Fruit Control Equipment's, Italy which is considered to be the best in the field of C.A technology
